KAST or RedotPay in Brazil: compare the job first

A local Pix offer, a BRL card purchase and a dollar subscription need separate comparisons.

The essentials

  • Choose separately for a discounted Pix purchase, BRL card spending and USD subscriptions.
  • Do not apply RedotPay Pro’s mobile-wallet reward to a subscription paid by entering the card number.
  • Check KAST’s Pix availability in your account and compare settled costs before paying for an upgrade.

Build three realistic spending rows

For a hypothetical São Paulo designer, compare a shop offering R$970 by Pix or R$1,000 by card, a restaurant accepting a BRL card payment and a software service billing US$25. The card needs to earn its place in each row; one international purchase cannot establish an advantage for discounted local shopping.

Include the cost of getting funds to each route from where they are now. BRL already in your bank and stablecoins already in a wallet are different starting positions. Do not assume either KAST or RedotPay reproduces your bank’s Pix experience merely because its card is marketed to Brazilian users.

  • Use the merchant’s confirmed Pix price.
  • Compare the same funding starting point.
  • Check your own card program and account.

Read Brazil changes by effective date

KAST’s Brazil notice announces a local-entity transition for 1 October 2026, including CPF and new terms. On this guide’s 8 September check date, that transition remains planned. Do not describe the future entity arrangement as already governing every Brazilian account or completing everyone’s verification.

Separately, the current KAST fee schedule lists Pix deposits and withdrawals. Confirm availability and limits in your own account instead of inferring universal access from that schedule. For RedotPay, inspect the exact Brazilian application, wallet and card terms shown to you; a global product page is not an individual approval.

Choose the card and upgrade separately

Begin with the cost and suitability of the underlying card, then assess whether a paid tier adds usable value. RedotPay Pro’s mobile-wallet reward requires qualifying Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases. Typing a card number into the designer’s software subscription checkout does not automatically make that transaction eligible for the mobile-wallet benefit.

A sensible trial is one modest card purchase followed through settlement and one month of actual subscription billing. Save the final BRL or USD receipt, app debit and usable reward. Choose based on those observed account results; do not promise that either brand will beat every Pix discount or approve every merchant.

Which option fits your situation?

01

Choose KAST Standard for USD software bills funded with supported stablecoins you already hold. Annual membership and USD card-spend fees are zero; funding and network costs still need their own calculation.

02

Choose RedotPay if you want to keep varied supported assets until purchase. Assess Pro separately, only when eligible Apple Pay or Google Pay benefits justify its membership fee.

03

Keep your BRL card or bank Pix when the local price is better. At hypothetical prices of R$970 by Pix and R$1,000 by card, the card route needs over R$30 net benefit to beat Pix.
